Concrete Structures Laboratory (CSL)
Concrete is the structural material most commonly used in the civil infrastructures such as bridges, tunnels, dams, underground structures, etc.
The SNU Concrete Structures Program encompasses a multitude of areas in the advanced structural design/analysis of reinforced concrete(RC) and prestressed concrete (PSC) structures. Principal research interests include; Structural concrete design with high-strength steel reinforcement and high performance concrete.
Nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete members subjected to seismic loading; Evaluation of durability of concrete structural system exposed to various environments; Development and design innovative hybrid structures; and hybrid structural test and cyber infrastructure using IT.
